Act 3, Scene 2 Summary

Location: A room in the palace
Characters: Lady Macbeth, a Servant, Macbeth,
Events: Lady Macbeth explains that although they achieved what they desired, by killing Duncan and becoming King and Queen, they are still unhappy. Macbeth is fearful of the consequences of killing Banquo and Fleance and feels as if something bad will happen.
Quote: “Come, seeling Night,
Scarf up the tender eye of pitiful day,
And, with thy bloody and invisible hand,
Cancel, and tear to pieces, that great bond
Which keeps me pale!”
